Any Tips??

So the trip is approaching and I am trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can from anybody that might have some tips about Italy, Italian culture, or just international travel in general. I'm picking up some conversational Italian from a book I bought but would love to know some other resources that you think would help (online, podcasts, etc).

I have received my official itinerary since I last posted and it looks like I will be heading out midday June 13th and returning home the night of July 24th. I look forward to hearing back from you all as I blog the trip! Thanks for following.

Taking Off June 13th!

My name is Jordan Difani and I am currently interning at the Arkansas World Trade Center in Rogers, Arkansas. I am also a business management major at the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and will be a senior in the fall.

The ARWTC is part of the World Trade Centers Association out of New York. The WTCA has over 300 Trade Centers in about 100 countries around the world, and has the mission of promoting peace and stability through trade. The purpose of the ARWTC is to connect Arkansas to the world through international trade opportunities.

I have the opportunity to go to Italy June 13th - July 24th as part of my internship. We have recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pescara-Chieti World Trade Center in Pescara, Italy, and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of the first-ever intern-exchange program between the two centers.

Both the Center for Retailing Excellence and the Career Development Center at the Walton College are supporting me on my trip and so I will be maintaining a blog throughout the summer on my experience in Italy. Thanks for following!
